Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions. These are in place to ensure everyone is on the same page from the beginning and there are no differences in expectations. Before work can begin, you will need to acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below.

Nature of Services

At Casper Green Creative Solutions, I offer support in areas such as website development and modification, document creation and improvement, technical skills, writing, research, and instruction.

The specific combination of services will be based on your specific needs and requests, focusing on helping you complete your desired goals.

No Guarantees

While I strive to provide the highest possible quality and work to assist with your goals, you are ultimately paying for my skills and time, rather than specific outcomes. This distinction is crucial, as factors outside my control may influence the success of our work.

• Website-Related Tasks. Such limitations are especially true with website design (where we may be constrained by the limits of the platform chosen) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) (which is very much a trial-and-error game, even for experts).
• Technical Assistance and Support. Similarly, while I offer technical assistance and support, I do not guarantee that all technical issues can be resolved. The complexity and nature of technical problems may vary, and solutions are not always guaranteed. I am self-taught in this field, and complex technical challenges may require someone with more training and experience.
• Research Services. Research services are provided based on the information available at the time of the request. The accuracy of information will also be influenced by the time allocated to research, although I strive to be as accurate as possible within these limitations.
• Writing and Editing. These processes involve aspects of interpretation, style, and individual preferences. I will carefully follow instructions concerning your desires, but be aware that the final product may not match your vision in every way. We can ensure the best match by working closely together and reviewing multiple versions of your document.

I will carefully evaluate each project before we begin and only accept those where I believe there is a high chance that we will achieve all of your goals. But, once again, I make no guarantees, as much cannot be predicted.

Payment Terms

My hourly rate is $45 NZD for the first 10 hours per client, then $40 per hour for subsequent hours. This rate is consistent across all tasks, including emails, meetings, and research* (except for the initial free consultation).

I track time using Harvest invoicing software, allowing you to see how much time was spent on which tasks.

I accept payment through bank transfer, cash, or PayPal. Anyone paying via PayPal will be subject to an additional fee to cover PayPal’s fees.

For new clients, I will send an invoice every two hours and payment is required within 14 days of receipt. I will not continue working on the project until the payment has been processed. Established clients can negotiate a different payment threshold, especially for long-term projects.

*I may also charge you for travel time in some situations, especially if we need to meet at your home. However, this will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Casper Green Creation Solutions and myself shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our services, or for any loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. My liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific services in question.

External Links and Third-Party Services

My website or communications may contain links to third-party websites or services. I am not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Your interaction with such third parties is at your own risk.

Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information. The more specific you can be, the more accurately I can meet your needs.

Many of my services have a collaborative element. If this applies to our work, then you are responsible for communicating clearly and regularly.

You are also responsible for any third party costs, such as website hosting and a domain name. You may also need to give me access to relevant accounts, like your website or email accounts, so I can complete the requested tasks.

Changes to This Disclaimer

Casper Green Creative Solutions reserves the right to modify or update this disclaimer at any time without prior notice. If we have an established relationship, then you will be asked to sign the updated disclaimer before changes take effect.

You also have the right to request changes or additions to this disclaimer based on your personal needs. Any such changes will be signed by all relevant parties before they come into effect.
