Introducing Cassie
What do I do? Well... that's a question that takes some time to answer.
I am a writer, a wordsmith, above everything else. I've long loved the flow of words. The way that they almost dance on the page and in the mind. Perhaps that's why so many of my services revolve around writing.
I've helped with PhD theses, research and editing for scientific papers, and provided academic support for students. I regularly write SEO-optimised content for websites (10,000+ words per week), have published an eBook, have a co-authored book nearing publication, and my own in-progress full book.
And that's just scratching the surface.
I'm also a dab hand with the online environment - websites in particular. And with the intersection between real life and the digital world.
I love helping people to bridge that gap. Exactly what that looks like varies from situation to situation, client to client.
Beyond that, I have a fascination with mental health and neurodiversity. My personal work focuses on finding ways to bring those arenas closer together. You'll see these topics turn up repeatedly on my blog.

Sound & Tech
I've been dipping my toe into sound and tech work for local productions. This has included work at The Loft, with Nelson Showgirl Academy, and most recently for A Very Gay Cabaret.
Dancing
There's something about movement that compels me. I mostly freeform dance, but have taken some lessons in burlesque, belly dance, and Latin styles.
